Description

The Orchid Safety Release Valve (SRV) is a sterile, single-patient-use, tension-activated breakaway device designed to dramatically reduce IV complications by preventing catheter dislodgements (indicated for patients aged two weeks and up). Approved by the FDA and Health Canada, it slides seamlessly into existing setups using standard luers with no extra training or procedures required. The Orchid SRV is a tension-activated design that automatically seals both line ends at a set threshold to preserve sterility and minimize treatment delays.
