Description
A Robertazzi Nasopharyngeal Airway is used to when there is an obstruction to the upper airway around the tongue area. This “blue” airway is designed to inserted into the right nostril as it follows the natural curve of the airway. To size the patient correctly it should be as long as the nose to the tragus of the ear when held against the side of the face.
The Robertazzi Nasopharyngeal Airway is crafted from soft, flexible silicone-coated latex, ensuring patient comfort and reducing the risk of nasal trauma. Available in sizes 20 Fr to 36 Fr, it caters to a wide range of patient needs.
Sizing
Sizing: Measure from the patient’s nostril to the earlobe to determine the correct size.
Insertion: Lubricate the airway and insert gently into the right nostril, following the natural curvature.
