Description
Sodasorb HMED canisters and bags contain traditional soda lime using sodium hydroxide, which is not recommended for low-flow applications. The high concentration of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) can produce toxins such as Compound A or formaldehyde during desiccation. Additionally, as the absorbent desiccates, the water volume decreases, which may potentially increase the NaOH concentration.
